Case 004 · Companionship
Milo
The places he made familiar.
A cat at home, moving through the quiet places that became part of everyday life.
The memory
Milo's story lived in the places he chose for himself: beneath the bed, beside the desk, in the kitchen doorway, and by the window.
Keep the places he made familiar.None of these photographs was a formal portrait. Together, they kept the ordinary shape of a life at home.
The rooms became part of him.
A book left on the rug, a chair at the desk, a laundry basket, and afternoon light became part of the memory because they were part of Milo's everyday world.

What mattered
What mattered
It wasn’t one perfect portrait of him.
It was the places he quietly made familiar — the rug, the desk, the doorway, and the afternoon light.
The photographs that shaped it
The photographs showed Milo in different rooms and moods, holding onto his striped coat, long fur, bright eyes, and familiar expression.
From memory to artwork
The final artwork keeps Milo at home, surrounded by the quiet rooms and everyday light that made the memory his.
