Case 007 · Wedding Memory
Yuan & Zhixia
Finally sitting down for the first bite of cake.
After the formal part of the wedding, Yuan and Zhixia finally sat down together and shared the first bite of cake.
The memory
The formal part of the wedding was over. Yuan and Zhixia finally sat down together and shared the first bite of cake.
Finally sitting down for the first bite of cake.It was an ordinary pause after the formal part of the day — a small moment that felt more private than another posed wedding photograph.
Small details kept the moment specific.
The cake, the bouquet, and the loosened tie carried the feeling of a wedding day that had finally become ordinary again.

What mattered
What mattered
It wasn’t only the wedding portrait.
It was the first small pause when everything slowed down and they finally sat together with the cake.
The photographs that shaped it
A portrait helped establish Yuan and Zhixia. The memory anchor kept their expressions, clothes, cake, bouquet, and the ease of sitting down together.
From memory to artwork
The final English artwork reorganizes that pause into a restrained watercolor keepsake, keeping Yuan and Zhixia, the cake, bouquet, date, and the quiet distance between ceremony and home.
